What we liked
- + 30 seeds of an evergreen conifer, a different project from the maples and elms that fill most seed packs
- + Listing points to the wood's suitability for shari deadwood work once the trunk has matured
- + Priced under ten dollars, so a failed first sowing is not an expensive lesson
Trade-offs
- - The listing gives no botanical name, so the exact juniper species is unclear
- - Described as suitable indoors or outdoors, but junipers are outdoor trees, and no stratification guidance is given
