What we liked
- + Includes seeds, growing medium, a mini-greenhouse and detailed instructions, so nothing else is needed to start
- + Listing promises free replacement seed if the seed fails to germinate or the seedling dies
- + One clearly named species, Pinus thunbergii, rather than a mixed bag of unnamed seeds
Trade-offs
- - The listing does not state how many seeds are in the kit
- - A small greenhouse kit raises a seedling or two, not the tray of candidates that a bulk seed pack allows
