What we liked
- + All five species are named on the listing, so you know what you are sowing before you buy
- + Plastic pots with drip trays replace the usual burlap bags and keep windowsills dry
- + Listing is upfront that not all seeds sprout and includes soaking and sowing tips
Trade-offs
- - Seed counts per species are not stated, and the listing itself warns that not every seed sprouts
- - Trees from seed take years before any styling, this is a growing project, not an instant bonsai
