What we liked
- + Natural dried forest moss with no artificial colors, listed for water retention and aeration
- + The 5.3 oz bag is listed as about 3 quarts once it absorbs water, which is enough for several pots
- + Listed for repotting, mulch and propagation, so it covers several bonsai moss jobs
Trade-offs
- - Sold as an orchid and general plant moss, so it is not a graded long-fiber bonsai product
- - Dried forest moss, not New Zealand sphagnum, and the spec sheet gives no fiber length or grade
