What we liked
- + Pre-mixed lava and pumice saves buying two separate amendments
- + Gritty blend adds drainage to succulent and bonsai soils
- + Doubles as decorative gravel on the soil surface
Trade-offs
- - Unknown ratio of lava to pumice makes recipes hard to repeat
- - 2.2lb bag covers only a few small pots
