What we liked
- + Three interchangeable mesh attachments let you sift to more than one grain size
- + The pan measures about 14.6 in across the top, a roomy size for sifting bulk soil
- + Made of iron with an antirust coating, according to the listing
Trade-offs
- - Mesh hole sizes are not stated on the product page, so you cannot match them to akadama grades in advance
- - Priced above many similar sieve sets and the spec sheet is short on detail
