What we liked
- + Unglazed purple clay fired at high temperature, described as breathable to allow airflow and moisture control
- + Each pot has a drainage hole and a matching tray, and the listing says the smaller holes help anchor roots
- + Two shapes in one set, a 7.8 inch rectangle and a 6.2 inch oval, so you can match the pot to the tree
Trade-offs
- - The title gives one measurement per pot, 7.8 and 6.2 inches, so confirm width and depth in the spec sheet images
- - Both pots are small, so the set suits shohin-size trees and starters, not medium or large bonsai
