What we liked
- + Three adjustable shelves fit trees of different heights, and the 28 x 16 inch footprint suits a balcony or patio
- + Openable, adjustable roof and double doors with a lock give ventilation control and easy access to the trees
- + Transparent PVC sheets are described as offering light transmission, heat preservation and water resistance
Trade-offs
- - The frame is coated fir wood, not aluminum like the cold frame it replaces, and it requires assembly
- - Panels are PVC sheet, and at 16 inches deep the shelves suit small and medium pots, not large trees
