What we liked
- + Includes both a knob cutter and a concave cutter, the two tools that make a set bonsai-specific
- + High carbon steel tools that the listing describes as hand polished for a sharper edge
- + Nylon storage case keeps all 14 pieces together between pruning and repotting sessions
Trade-offs
- - Carbon steel needs to be dried and oiled after use or it will rust
- - Lesser-known brand at a mid-range price, and the manufacturer does not give tool lengths
