What we liked
- + Made of natural black catalpa wood with a flat, smooth surface and clear natural texture, according to the listing
- + At 6.10 inches across and 1.78 inches tall it sits low and is described as having a stable structure
- + Sold in multiple sizes under the same product line, so you can match the base to the pot you want to show
Trade-offs
- - A 6.10 inch base only fits very small pots, so medium and large bonsai need a bigger stand
- - Care notes say to keep it out of the sun and away from soaking water, so it suits indoor display only
