Dwarf Trident Maple Outdoor Bonsai Tree
A dwarf trident maple outdoor bonsai from Love My Bonsai, 6 years old and 10 to 12 inches tall. A step up in age from the 5-year trident maple in this guide, but far younger and cheaper than the 45-year specimen it replaces.

What we liked
- + Stated specs are clear: 6 years old and 10 to 12 inches tall, sold as an outdoor bonsai tree
- + A dwarf trident maple, a different form from the standard trident and hedge maples also listed in this guide
- + The seller states up front that it may ship without foliage in autumn and winter, so a bare tree is expected then
Trade-offs
- - A premium-priced tree, yet the listing has only four short feature lines and no detail on the pot or soil
- - At 6 years old this is still a young tree, not a show specimen like the 45-year maple it replaces
