What we liked
- + Bundle includes the live tree, a decorative container and the components needed to pot it
- + Green Mound Juniper is a classic beginner bonsai species with dense foliage
- + At 5 years old and 6 to 10 inches tall, it has more structure than a seedling or seed kit
Trade-offs
- - Juniper is an outdoor tree, so it does not suit someone who wants a permanent desk plant
- - Does not ship to Alaska or Hawaii, and container color and shape may vary
